Avoid Assessment Pitfalls
At LearnUpon, we believe learning should remove barriers, not create them. We pride ourselves on our industry-leading experience built for users of all abilities.
We will ensure all new user features are in compliance with WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA, and Section 508. We are working hard to bring all legacy features up to speed.
LearnUpon tests extensively using the most popular screen reader, browser, and OS combinations to best support the use of assistive technologies for users.
To help with the use of assistive technologies within the platform, we continuously strive to support full keyboard navigation of our user features, where possible.
For users with hearing impairment or cognitive and learning disabilities, LearnUpon supports video subtitles that can be imported and overwritten.
“Over a billion people are estimated to live with some form of disability, which can include blindness, deafness, and a variety of others. This corresponds to about 15 percent of the world’s population.”
