LearnUpon Secures Multiple Wins at the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards® for the 11th Consecutive Year

DUBLIN – August, 21 2025 – LearnUpon, a leading Learning Management System (LMS) provider, has announced that the organization and its customers have once again been recognized with multiple wins at the 2025 Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards®. This marks LearnUpon’s 11th consecutive year receiving honors at the awards, which celebrate innovative, results-driven Human Capital Management (HCM) programs from organizations around the globe.

LearnUpon and its customers won awards in both Learning and Development categories they entered this year, including:

  • Silver in Best Learning Governance – Getz Healthcare and LearnUpon
  • Bronze in Best Compliance Training – MIDFLORIDA Credit Union and LearnUpon

“Every year, the Brandon Hall Group Awards shine a spotlight on the incredible programs our customers deliver, and 2025 is no different,” said Brendan Noud, Co-founder and CEO of LearnUpon. “These awards reflect a shared vision—learning that goes beyond delivery. Our customers are increasingly connecting learning to business goals and outcomes like performance, retention, and long-term growth—benefiting both their people and their organizations.”

MIDFLORIDA & LearnUpon

With LearnUpon as their LMS, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union set out to redefine compliance, transforming it from a mandatory tick-the-box exercise into a company-wide culture.

With over 1,400 employees, consistency and innovation were critical to ensuring that MIDFLORIDA’s compliance programs not only met regulatory requirements, but also reduced administrative burden and kept employees engaged.

After a successful implementation, the team now delivers training that combines dynamic course design and learning paths, automated reporting, and leadership buy-in.

The impact: 100% course completion rates, a smoother admin experience, and a significant improvement in employee understanding and confidence.

“We used to assign all 35 courses at once and say, ‘Complete by December 31.’ Now, we space them out over 11 months, with specific courses due each month. Through better alignment and sequencing, our courses are no longer just about checking a compliance box. They’re about helping our staff—both admins and users—feel more confident in their roles and know what to do out of habit, not hesitation.”
— Christina Prince, VP Training Manager, MIDFLORIDA

Getz Healthcare & LearnUpon

Part of the global Getz Group, Getz Healthcare operates across multiple regions worldwide, with a strong presence in nine countries throughout Asia Pacific. In this region, the business historically operated under separate brand names—such as Louis T. Leonowens in Thailand and Medtel in Australia—before unifying under the “One Getz Healthcare” strategy.

As part of this regional transformation, the company set out to develop a learning governance model that would unify operations, strengthen soft skills, and expand employee capabilities beyond technical product training.

Led by a cross-functional Governance Team, the framework was built around Getz’s core value: “Have a Mind-Set to Learn.” With LearnUpon as part of its solution ecosystem, the model is now central to how learning is delivered across Asia Pacific. The company now strikes a more intentional balance between soft skills training (60%) and the already well-established product training (40%).

“Through strong governance and empowered local execution, we’ve built a culture that drives performance, promotes excellence, and shapes our vision—bringing meaningful healthcare solutions to the people of Asia Pacific.”
— Jay Villafuerte, Business Optimization Manager, APAC, Getz Healthcare

Entries for this year’s Brandon Hall Group Awards were evaluated by a panel of independent industry experts, Brandon Hall Group analysts, and executives against criteria that included:

  • Alignment to their business needs and environment.
    Program design, functionality and delivery.
Adoption, integration, user experience, innovation and creativity.
Overall effectiveness, impact, and measurable benefits.

“To our winners: Your dedication to transforming the workplace and elevating the employee experience is making a real difference in organizations around the world. You’ve shown us what’s possible when vision meets execution”

— Brandon Hall Group

Excellence Award winners will be celebrated at the HCM Excellence Awards Gala during Brandon Hall Group’s HCM Excellence Conference, February 9-12, 2026.
