Announced on August 19, 2021, this year saw the biggest applicant pool in the award’s 28-year history.

Building on the success of last year’s Excellence in Technology Awards, we are honored to receive awards in all four programs entered:

  • Best Customer Training Program – LearnUpon and WebPT
  • Best Advance in Leadership Development – LearnUpon and Sonic Automotive

Silver Award

Speaking following the announcement, LearnUpon CEO Brendan Noud stated:

“The LearnUpon team always eagerly anticipates the Brandon Hall Group Awards, and this time around we’re particularly proud. A solid LMS partnership is based on much more than a feature list. It is about finding a solution that helps the team succeed and maximizes training’s impact. The HCM Awards program enabled us to showcase our customers and how they are driving business results, supported by our platform and our people.”

One of two annual programs, the Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Awards are held in high regard by all involved in the learning and development industry. Each entry is evaluated by a panel of independent senior industry experts based on 5 key areas: the design of the program, how it fits the need, functionality, program innovation and overall measurable benefits.

“Brandon Hall Group Excellence Awards in 2021 provide much-needed and well deserved recognition to organizations that went above and beyond to support their stakeholders during the unprecedented disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Brandon Hall Group COO and leader of the HCM Excellence Awards Program Rachel Cooke. “The awards provide validation of best practices in all areas of HCM at a time when they have never been more important to employers, employees and customers.”
