DUBLIN, IRELAND, August 2026 — LearnUpon has officially announced the launch of ActUpon, its first official Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program designed to build deeper, more sustainable partnerships with local non-profits. Born from a collaborative effort between LearnUpon’s People, Workplace, and Executive Leadership teams, ActUpon consolidates and elevates the company’s existing volunteering and community support initiatives into a single, cohesive, and highly impactful program.

The mission of ActUpon is simple but powerful: to leverage the collective skills, time, and resources of LearnUpon’s global workforce to support organizations that lift up local communities and create lasting social impact.

“ActUpon is so close to our hearts, it’s all about giving back to the communities who helped shape who we are today,” said Susan Nolan, Chief Operating Officer (COO) at LearnUpon. “We wanted to build something everyone on the team could participate in, bringing not just our time but our actual professional skills like tech, multimedia design, and business strategy. By pairing our energy with what we do best, we can build deeper, long-lasting partnerships that make a real difference. I couldn’t be more excited to see the impact of what we’ll achieve together.”

A Strategic, Community-First Pilot

To ensure maximum engagement and measurable impact, LearnUpon is kicking off ActUpon with a pilot phase centered in two core hubs: Dublin, Ireland (where the company was founded and maintains its headquarters) and Belgrade, Serbia (home to a deeply connected, long-standing local office).

Moving past passive funding and scattered contributions, LearnUpon has carefully chosen dedicated, value-aligned non-profit partners in both hubs that focus on accessibility and helping community members thrive.

  • Dublin Pilot Partner – Avista Foundation: Avista Foundation is an Irish charity, and the fundraising arm of the disability support service Avista. Their work helps build more inclusive futures for more than 3,000 children and adults with disabilities.
  • Belgrade Pilot Partner – Dečje Srce: Dečje Srce (“Children’s Heart”) is a humanitarian organization dedicated to integrating young people with disabilities into everyday society through creative community programs and educational initiatives.

By focusing initial efforts in these two locations, LearnUpon can build a strong, replicable foundation before expanding the program globally.

Hands-On, Skills-Based Support in Action

The partnership with Avista Foundation is already driving significant change. LearnUpon recently completed a successful laptop donation to support Avista’s technical infrastructure. Additionally, all funds collected from LearnUpon’s corporate Return-it initiatives are being directly funneled to the Avista Foundation to help fund essential capital projects.

This August, LearnUpon employees (affectionately known as “Luppers”) will also participate in their first official Volunteer Day with Avista Foundation. Alongside helping with the upkeep and care of the local centers, Luppers will share their professional expertise to support Avista’s mission. Members of the creative team will provide high-quality photography and video services to capture Avista’s impactful work and enhance their public-facing website. Meanwhile, volunteers from other departments will collaborate as consultants and advisors, sharing their strategic insights to help Avista tell its story more effectively.

“We are absolutely thrilled to collaborate with LearnUpon,” said Jesse Kennedy, Director of Development for the Avista Foundation. “Having the hands-on support of their team this August is invaluable. But what makes this collaboration stand out is the ongoing nature of the partnership. This level of support will fundamentally change how we operate and communicate, helping us drive deeper impact and improve services for our supported individuals.

A Corporate Social Responsibility Program Designed for All

By offering employees dedicated resources, LearnUpon aims to promote a culture of active citizenship where every team member is empowered to drive sustainable, positive change. Alongside office-wide partnerships, the program actively backs individual projects and passions. Whether a team member is championing a local animal shelter, supporting a community sports club, or assisting a grassroots cause close to their heart, LearnUpon strives to provide the necessary space and backing to keep its corporate citizenship diverse, human, and directly connected to what matters most to its people.
